From "The Complete Asian Cookbook" by Charmaine Solomon, pg. 24.
- 1 1/4 cups basmati rice
- 2 tsp ghee
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cups hot water
Fry rice in ghee at high heat for about 2 minutes.
Add water and salt, cover, turn down temperature to low. Cook 25 minutes.
